Watch for Documentary About Public School Teachers - Author Dave Eggers and Oscar-winning filmmaker Vanessa Roth have teamed up to produce a documentary about the professional lives of public school teachers. The documentary, consisting of teachers' video diaries and professionally-shot footage, aims to do for public schools what An Inconvenient Truth did for the environment. The Learning First Alliance's 2009 Summit, March 5-7, 2009, will be held this year in conjunction with the 2009 Celebration of Teaching & Learning, a major national education conference created by Thirteen/WNET, New York's high-profile public television station.
