2013 Back to School Toolkit: E-Rate
E-Rate represents the single-largest source of education technology funding for the nation’s schools and libraries. With the critical role Internet connectivity plays when it comes to increased digital learning capabilities, AASA, The School Superintendents Association, is pleased to release its 2013 Back to School Toolkit: E-Rate.
By approving the E-Rate Notice of Proposed Rule Making (NPRM), the Federal Communications Commission seeks public comment to modernize E-Rate as a way to strengthen efforts to provide high-speed broadband Internet access to our students. The toolkit has been designed to help AASA members educate their respective communities about E-Rate and illustrate why the program is important for our school systems.
