Transcend Education

 

Transcend and AASA share a belief that this year's crisis will only exacerbate the patterns of inequality we've historically seen around student progress and engagement if re-entry does not fundamentally honor Science of Learning Development (SOLD) principles and center student and family voices in the process of designing a new normal. 

The Building Equitable Learning Environments (BELE) framework, by creating a through line from the student to the teacher to the classroom to the school the system to policy, offers schools, systems, and states a powerful tool to build coherence and design for equity.

Transcend + AASA, working in collaboration, will accelerate the reinvention of the education system to create better student and adult learning experiences by disseminating the BELE-infused support to a large number of districts across the nation.
