Evidence-Based Mathematics Interventions: Creating a Coordinated System of Interventions
March 16, 2022
More than a decade ago, the Vail (Ariz.) School District began reinventing its math curriculum and intervention initiative.
To help every student achieve academic success, the district sought out an evidence-based math program that could be implemented at every school. Educators began monitoring progress through curriculum-based measurement (CBM) and reinforced math instruction using classwide interventions.
More recently, Vail implemented Spring Math to monitor students’ progress across the district, provide classwide and individual math interventions and track growth from year to year.
As a result of this work, Vail has been recognized as a top-performing district in the state of Arizona. Join us to learn more about Vail’s successful implementation of our evidence-based math intervention program and leave with strategies for doing this type of programming in your district.
