My View

The role of classroom educators has changed radically in recent years. Today’s teachers navigate an entire student experience — integrating technology, building cultural understanding and supporting social-emotional learning, along with the accountability for ever-increasing state academic standards.

As school district leaders, we must evolve to support their expanded roles. We need our state and national leaders to follow.

Our greatest assets are the adults who come to school each day, driven by a calling to serve students. By championing their work, we elevate purpose and impact, two important drivers of workplace well-being.
