The AASA National Advocacy Network (NAN) is a community of superintendent advocates committed to engaging with Congress and federal agencies to elevate the perspective of district leaders.

As a member of NAN, you are committing to:

• Engaging in our Calls to Action, contacting your members of Congress on make-or-break issues that have major funding and policy implications for public schools
• Submitting comments about important regulatory changes that will significantly alter school district operations or finances
• Increasing participation in our Calls to Action by forwarding these alerts to two or three of your colleagues and encouraging them to take action

New to advocacy? The AASA Advocacy Team will provide all the resources you need to be successful, including templates, member of Congress contact information and draft language for every Call to Action. As our network grows, our Calls to Action will be targeted to the issue areas you feel most passionate about engaging in.
