Gary Bloom

Gary Bloom is the lead author of Blended Coaching: Supporting the Development and Supervision of School Leaders. 

Gary has 4+ years of K–12 education experience, having served as a bilingual teacher, principal, director of curriculum, and assistant superintendent and superintendent. He served as the superintendent of the Aromas-San Juan Unified School District and Santa Cruz City Schools and as adjunct faculty at San Jose State University. He co-founded the New Teacher Center at University of California Santa Cruz, pioneering approaches to leadership development, coaching and supervision. He is a best selling author and has presented, consulted and trained with educators both nationally and internationally.
