Jamie Wilson

Dr. Jamie Wilson is a seasoned education leader with a proven track record of driving innovation and growth in public school districts. As Superintendent Emeritus of the Denton Independent School District, Dr. Wilson has dedicated his 34 year career to providing exceptional educational opportunities for students. 

With a keen focus on data-driven decision-making and technology integration, Dr. Wilson has spearheaded numerous initiatives to enhance student learning and teacher effectiveness. His leadership has been instrumental in expanding the district's physical footprint, implementing innovative instructional programs, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. 

Beyond his role at Denton ISD, Dr. Wilson actively engages in statewide education advocacy and serves on various boards, including the Denton County Children's Advocacy Center, KERA Public Television, and DATCU Credit Union. His commitment to public education extends beyond the classroom, making him a respected voice in the field.
