Krestin Bahr

Krestin Bahr has led the Peninsula School District since 2021, bringing 39 years of experience. Her career spans roles as a teacher, Principal, Director of Middle Schools, and Mt. Tahoma Regional Director for Tacoma Public Schools. Bahr previously served as Superintendent of Eatonville School District, earning two AASA Superintendent of the Year nominations. She has secured grants for Arts Impact and Mastery-Based Learning and helped several schools earn recognition, including Evergreen and Artondale Elementary as Washington’s Green Schools in 2024. Bahr is married with three grown children and four grandchildren.
