Michael Lubelfeld
Michael Lubelfeld Ed.D. has served as a public school superintendent in Illinois since 2010.
Prior to becoming a superintendent, he was an assistant superintendent, a middle school principal, a middle school associate principal, and a middle school social studies teacher. He currently serves as the superintendent of schools in the North Shore School District 112 in Highland Park, and Highwood, IL north of Chicago. The district contains 10 elementary schools with 4000 students. Lubelfeld earned his Doctor of Education in curriculum and instruction from Loyola University of Chicago, where his published dissertation was on Effective Instruction in Middle School Social Studies. He is also on the adjunct faculty at Loyola University and National Louis University in the Department of Educational Leadership.
