Steve Esposito
Dr. Stephen Esposito is the Assistant Superintendent of Elementary School Performance Area C. In his 22 years with Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, he has served in several roles including an elementary school teacher, an elementary and middle school principal, an executive director and Northeast Learning Community superintendent. Dr. Esposito has had the privilege of formerly supervising principals since 2017 and he has supported a wide range of schools, pre-K through 12th grade. Currently, Dr. Esposito supervises 23 elementary school principals. Dr. Esposito attended Appalachian State University where he earned his bachelor’s in elementary education. He also attended Gardner-Webb University where he earned his master’s in school administration and doctorate in educational leadership.
