Steven Langford
Steve Langford is the Chief Information Officer for the Beaverton School District, serving 40,000 students and their families.
Steve has served in technology leadership roles over the past 32 years in both K-12 and higher education institutions. He is the past Chair for the Consortium for School Networking (CoSN) and serves on the board of the Association for Computer Professionals in Education (ACPE). Steve has led digital transformation in the Beaverton School District, focusing upon the design and build of a robust technology infrastructure, providing student devices and applications to extend learning, and ensuring teacher supports with the move to a digital environment. He has served on a number of state and regional committees focusing on technology, security, and student data privacy issues. Steve is passionate about the ability of technology to transform teaching and learning, and is a frequent speaker on technology and leadership issues. He has a Masters of Educational Technology from Pepperdine University.
