AASA Joins 1000+ in FY25 Letter to Congress

AASA joined more than 1,000 groups in a joint letter to Congress, calling on the legislative bodies to move an FY25 appropriations process that fully appropriates the necessary non-defense discretionary funds to keep pace with rising costs and avoids toxic policy riders. Read our letter here.

This letter is well timed: the House released its FY25 proposal for the slice of the budget pie that includes education—Labor Health Human Services and Other—and is set to mark it up in subcommittee tomorrow, Thursday June 27. AASA sent a letter yesterday regarding the proposal.
