A new national map of School Investments in Clean Energy highlights over 300 IRA reimbursement-eligible projects in nearly 40 states, with district stories available in National and Statewide Schools and IRA Fact Sheets. UndauntedK12’s Schools and the IRA Overview offers an introduction to the clean energy reimbursements available for schools, along with key actions to help district leaders or advocates get started.
The deadline for calendar year 2023 filers to claim Elective Pay on clean energy projects is November 15, 2024. The IRS urges entities to complete the pre-filing process immediately in order to meet the November 15th filing deadline.
