Survey Help: Impacts of Superintendent Turnover
October 27, 2023
As part of our broader work to better understand and illustrate the reality of today’s superintendents, we are proud to partner with Dr. Rachel S. White. A researched with the University of Tennessee, she’s conducting a research study that aims to better understand educators’ and administrators’ perspectives of superintendent attrition and how educators and administrators perceive of superintendent attributes. We ask that you take a few moments to complete her survey.
Additional detail: Through her survey she aims better understand the ways in which superintendent turnover are perceived by educators, and the impacts that superintendent attrition has on educators’ feelings/emotions, perceptions, and actions within their professional context; and (2) educators’ perceptions of who superintendents are. Participation will require current K-12 public school educators to complete a short survey (~10-15 minutes). No personally identifiable information is required as part of the survey. You will be able to volunteer information about their demographic characteristics, but this information is not required. The only person that will have access to any of this data is Dr. Rachel White. Any person who completes the survey will have the opportunity to submit their e-mail address to be considered for a drawing to receive a $200 Amazon gift card. These e-mail addresses will be disassociated with all other study data and destroyed upon the selection of the gift card winner.
Thank you for your time and consideration!
