About Aspiring Superintendents Academy®
Partners:
The Aspiring
Superintendents Academy® is a highly interactive year-long program that provides
the real-world skills our next generation of superintendents will need to
thrive. The Academy will cover topics essential to developing a deep
understanding of the leadership role of a successful superintendent.
The Aspiring Superintendents Academy® includes four
mandatory in-person sessions* during the 2020-21 school year, connection with an
experienced superintendent mentor, and completion of a culminating Capstone Project
to be presented during the final session. The curriculum will develop your knowledge and
strengths, and it will prepare you to lead teams of people effectively.
Directing the Academy are leaders with demonstrated expertise leading
innovative school districts with a record of improving learning for all
students.
*For 2020-21, the summer in-person has been changed to virtual and spread over 4 months with details below. Accommodations will be available for the October, February, and April in-person meetings for those unable to travel.
