January 22, 2020

Nearly a hundred superintendents and other school district leaders gathered in Savannah, Ga. this week to share best practices and winning strategies about youth apprenticeships and the important roles they play when it comes to preparing our students for success in career and life.

Among the many highlights of the two-day meeting (Jan. 14-15) included a panel discussion comprised of students attending Savannah-Chatham County Public Schools discussing the positive impact they’ve experienced through the district’s youth apprenticeship program. The panel was led by AASA Project Director Kayla Jackson.
