Alexandria, Va. – Feb. 15, 2021 – Superintendents, school district administrators, journalists, communications officers and other advocates of public education can follow activities at AASA’s virtual 2021 National Conference on Education (Feb. 18-19) through Conference Daily Online.

The award-winning e-publication will carry three issues of coverage—in advance and during the event—with short news stories about speakers, AASA award winners and AASA presidential candidates, plus daily blog postings by four AASA members and, for the first time, a daily newscast each evening with program highlights.

“For more than 30 years, it has been a professional honor and privilege for me to report on the myriad of activities available at our national conference,” said Jay P. Goldman, editor-in-chief of Conference Daily Online. “The all-virtual format is new for all of us at AASA, but I’m certain the lineup of sessions throughout our program will have considerable value to the school system leaders attending as well as other advocates for public education unable to attend.”

The news site will be updated with fresh content Feb. 18-19. A pre-conference issue with preview stories about various facets of the event can be accessed for viewing.

AASA is the premier organization for our nation’s superintendents serving thousands of education leaders throughout the United States. The National Conference on Education routinely convenes the most prominent education thought leaders addressing the most pressing issues in the education landscape. The ongoing challenges brought on by the public health crisis escalates the importance of a national conference where the leaders of our nation’s public school districts are attending.
