Vito Borrello to speak at 2023 Authentic Family Engagement Summit

The research is clear: family engagement has a positive impact on student success. Educational leaders from across the country will gather in New Orleans, La. for the AASA Authentic Family Engagement Summit! Participants will explore current topics and cutting-edge ideas around family engagement best practices and have an opportunity to connect with leaders who are deeply involved in this important work.
Confirmed speakers include Vito J. Borrello, executive director, National Association for Family, School and Community Engagement. The summit will also include a special site visit to NOLA Public Schools, led by Superintendent Avis Williams, to learn the meaning behind their family engagement motto, “Families are the heartbeat of the district.”
