AASA Awards Grants to School Districts Across the Nation

Alexandria, Va. – January 13, 2025 – AASA, The School Superintendents Association, announced today the recipients of the 2025 Helping Kids Mini Grants, a program funded by AASA, and supported by its government cooperative procurement partner, Sourcewell.
This year, $40,000 in funds have been distributed to 16 school districts to improve learning in two ways - reimagining and advancing existing district infrastructure and making upgrades for flexible and contemporary educational facilities.

For 2025, the following school districts were chosen to receive the AASA | Sourcewell Helping Kids Mini Grants:

Superintendent – Shari Camhi - Barrington School District, Barrington, N.H.
Superintendent – Deannah Rae - Bertrand Community School District #54, Bertrand, Neb.
Superintendent – Nicole LeClaire - Biddeford School District, Biddeford, Maine
Superintendent – Jeremy Ray - Glendive Public Schools, Glendive, Mont.
Superintendent – Stephen Schreibeis - Greenbrier Public Schools, Greenbrier, Ark.
Superintendent – Kelli Martin - ISD 728 Elk River Area Schools, Elk River, Minn.
Superintendent – Daniel Bittman - Johnston County Public Schools, Smithfield, N.C.
Superintendent – Dr. Eric Bracy - Legacy Traditional Schools, San Antonio, Texas
Superintendent – Dr. Sylvia Mitchell - Lewis County C-1 School District, Lewistown, Mo.
Superintendent – John French - Lincoln-Woodstock Cooperative School District, Lincoln, N.H.
Superintendent – Mary Steady - Milford Area Public Schools #124, Milford, Ill.
Superintendent – John Klaber - Noble Local School District, Sarahsville, Ohio
Superintendent – Justin Denius - Northeastern School District, Manchester, Pa.
Superintendent – Dr. Jason Bottiglieri - Stevenson-Carson School District, Stevenson, Wash.
