As part of the 10th anniversary of the Urban Superintendents Academy, we're recognizing three (3) leaders who demonstrate dedication to student equity and inclusivity and who have positively impacted their district and community.

 Collective Impact Award: This award celebrates collaborative leadership and collective action, recognizing those who have demonstrated a steadfast commitment to fostering meaningful partnerships and driving transformative change within urban education.

 Dr. Joe Hairston Award: This award celebrates superintendents who exemplify Dr. Joe Allen Hairston's commitment to visionary leadership, inclusivity, innovation and mentorship in urban education.

 Emerging Leader Award: This award honors the early accomplishments and exceptional promise of rising leaders and celebrates individuals who have demonstrated innovative leadership, a commitment to educational equity, and a passion for student success early in their careers.

Awardees must be graduates of the AASA Urban Superintendents Academy.  Submit a nomination by January 15, 2025!
