Sharing a Survey: School Superintendent Opioid Response Survey

Our advocacy team partners with other associations, non-profits, and outside organizations in efforts to support our advocacy, policy, and analysis. We are happy to share an important survey from our friends at Opportunity Labs. Opportunity Labs describes themselves as a research, policy, and consulting lab with a mission that is simple yet powerful: to increase the measurable impact of individuals, organizations, and institutions working to help children and young adults thrive; they focus on building and championing practical, holistic solutions at the intersections of education, health, housing and work.

In their latest work, they are partnering with the Foundation for Opioid Response Efforts (FORE) to better understand district superintendents' perspectives on the role, responsibilities and status of school-based opioid prevention and response including naloxone administration. They’re working to ensure that superintendent voice guides research and policies on school-based opioid use and prevention.
