Anonymous Threat Mitigation: What Superintendents Need to Know

AASA, representatives from the U.S. Department of Homeland Security School Safety Task Force and the Federal Bureau of Investigation hosted an in-depth webinar for superintendents on how to respond to the significant rise in anonymous threats of violence for districts.

Presenters walked through the newly released federal guidance and technical assistance on how to prepare and respond to potential and anonymous threats of violence, including on social media. This interactive, engaging presentation also walks through various example scenarios that district leaders may face, so participants can better understand best practices in these challenging situations.
