Superintendents say they agree on issues with their school boards somewhat less frequently today compared to the pre-pandemic period.

A survey of 467 superintendents in New York state found boards similarly were more inclined now to attempt to micromanage district operations.

On both questions, though, the vast majority of respondents said these were not serious concerns for them. The surveys compared views between 2019 and 2022.
