Best practices around communicating data effectively to diverse groups of stakeholders.
AASA's vision of systematic design includes building leaders’ capacity in working with data. To assist district leaders in understanding and communicating their data, used in a growth model continuum, AASA seeks to support districts in effectively communicating the current state of their district.
To support AASA’s mission of helping districts communicate with data, Hanover Research has prepared the following report reviewing best practices around communicating data effectively to diverse groups. This report includes the following sections:
- Section I reviews best practices for using data to understand the state of the district and support the student growth continuum of AASA’s Vision of Systematic Design.
- Section II reviews best practices for district leaders in communicating data, with an emphasis on framing data to build hope during the improvement process.
