My View

Staff burnout, low morale and high turnover are increasingly evident in most school districts. Good employees are not easy to find, develop or keep.

While most schools and districts use some form of employee recognition, these activities often feel superficial and impersonal to faculty and staff, leading to negative reactions.

When looking into ways to show employees more authentic appreciation, I have identified five conditions to help educators feel truly valued.
