During a day-long virtual seminar my legal team was leading for school officials, I recognized how seamlessly both the presenters and the attendees used the virtual platform. Two years ago, these functionalities were foreign to us. We all learned during
the pandemic how to meet online, whether we wanted to or not.
Remote school board meetings began as a safety precaution, but once we got used to the platforms, we saw advantages.
On the other hand, several boards have told me
of a loss of rapport and serious difficulty onboarding new members without the chance to connect in person. So what does that mean going forward?
