The most common benefits appearing in superintendents’ contracts relate to paid membership in professional associations and paid attendance at professional conferences.

The percentage of superintendents reporting these perquisites in AASA’s superintendent surveys has remained constant over the past three years. Nearly 2,700 respondents participated in the most recent survey.
