How Can Districts Respond to Chronic Absenteeism? A New Tool to Guide Understanding and Action

Type: Webinar Recording

September 06, 2024

Chronic absenteeism rates have soared post-pandemic. Even districts and schools with response systems in place are strained by the sheer volume of chronically absent students. To help schools meet today's student needs, the GRAD Partnership has developed a new tool to guide school teams in developing action plans for understanding chronic absenteeism in their local context, mitigating the risks for their students and community, and designing interventions to meet their specific needs.

As you prepare for a new school year, the GRAD Partnership and AASA, The School Superintendents Association in a webinar introduces this new free resource to superintendents, and school and district leaders. Participants will have the opportunity to share their own experiences and learn from each other.
