Students should be supported through:
- 60-minutes of uninterrupted play per day while in kindergarten
- Participation in Visual and/or Performing Arts weekly during the school day
- Age-appropriate SEL instruction and adult support.
In addition, students should be able to:
- Read on grade level by the end of 3rd grade on state/district readiness measures
AND meet 3 of the following indicators:
- 90% attendance rate.
- Annual Community Service/Service Learning participation
- Participation in at least one extracurricular activity (club/sport) in 5th grade
- Report a positive relationship with at least one staff member each year.
- Meet grade-level SEL competency targets.
Students should be supported through:
- Participation in Visual and/or Performing Arts
during the school day (weekly)
- Participation in experiences or exploration
in career field(s) of interest by the end of
8th grade
- Participation in experiences or exploration
of post-secondary training options/opportunities
by the end of 8th grade
- Age-appropriate SEL instruction and
adult support.
In addition, students should be able to:
- Earn in 8th grade at least a “C” in English
and Math
AND meet 3 of the following indicators:
- 90% attendance rate.
- Annual Community Service/Service Learning participation
- Participation in at least one extracurricular activity (club/sport) annually
- Report a positive relationship with at least one staff member each year.
- Meet grade-level SEL competency targets.
