State of the Superintendency
When asked what skill areas they considered themselves to be least effective in managing, superintendents most commonly listed these two: Addressing the trauma-related challenges of children and diversity issues in their school districts.
These
emerged among the 1,200 responses in a national survey of superintendents conducted by AASA.
