A review of 100+ district strategic plans shows that most districts are working toward the same goals, but the five-year planning process can make employees feel as though the “goalposts” are always shifting.

Through working with districts, colleges, and universities to set strategy for more than a decade, EAB has found that establishing an annual strategy process that uses both internal and external data to set strategic priorities leads to more effective and manageable work for all involved.
