Dr. Philip Brown, the Superintendent of Jackson County School System since June 2022, boasts a distinguished career spanning diverse educational roles across four districts. His journey encompasses roles as a middle school teacher, varsity coach, assistant principal, high school principal, and superintendent. Before leading Jackson County, he spent 11 years as principal at North Oconee High School, where he achieved remarkable success, earning the school the distinction of a Blue Ribbon School of Excellence and a 98.9% graduation rate. Dr. Brown's extensive contributions extend beyond his leadership, with over 50 conference presentations, numerous published works, and prestigious accolades such as the Jim Puckett Outstanding Education Award.
Andrew R. Dolloff, Ph.D.
Superintendent of Schools, Yarmouth Schools, ME
Andrew Dolloff was named Superintendent of Schools in Yarmouth on July 1, 2014, after completing five years in the same position in Maine RSU 21 in Kennebunk. Andrew is a 35-year veteran of Maine public schools, having begun his career as a chemistry teacher and basketball coach in central Maine before moving into school administration in Greater Portland in 1996. Over the past 26 years he has served as a superintendent, assistant superintendent, high school principal, high school assistant principal, and athletic administrator. Andrew was named Maine's Superintendent of the Year in 2021, while the New England League of Middle Schools recognized him with its Superintendent Award in 2020.
