Superintendent, lifelong runner, Lululemon ambassador — Amy Alzina carries all three titles. She’s superintendent of the Cold Spring School District in Santa Barbara, Calif. She was an All-American marathoner in college and still competes nationally on a USA Track and Field masters team, which she coaches. And she’s serving the athleisure brand as an ambassador to test new products and collaborate with Lululemon employees on events. The partnership is a perfect match for Alzina, combining her love of running for its physical and mental health benefits with community building. Lululemon, says Alzina, an AASA member for a year, is “all about community and relationships, and that’s what we know, in leadership, builds great teams.”
