State of the Superintendency
About three-fourths of superintendents nationwide report they have social media accounts to promote the work of the district, principally via Twitter and Facebook, according to a new AASA survey. By far the greatest use involved superintendents with 2-8
years of experience.
Almost a quarter (23 percent) of superintendents said that, while they maintain a social media account, they rarely check it. This compares to 20 percent who said they post or respond to something daily.
