State of the Superintendency
More than half (56 percent) of the superintendents responding to AASA’s latest nationwide survey said they feel “very great or considerable” stress relating to their work. Only 8 percent indicated they felt little or no stress as a superintendent.
In the accompanying table, the 1,200 survey respondents were asked to select the top three problems they face in their current position that contribute to feelings of stress.
